My name is Karin and my company name is Travallure. My company name is short for travel and allure as travel is supposed to be fascinating and exciting for any individual.

Being in the industry for so long, I needed my work environment to be flexible and for it to be worthwhile going independent. This is my passion and even typing this brings tears to my eyes. After having worked for a corporate travel company for nearly 5 years I decided it was time for a change. I was feeling claustrophobic and frustrated. As much as I tried to do and be better, it was just never enough. I wasn't making enough money, I had no work-life balance and I felt completely drained. Making the decision to be my own true leader was the scariest and most empowering decision of my life. Having worked in travel as an agent, manager and trainer; I took the leap to build my own business under the AWA & Associates umbrella.

I had not been consulting for nearly 5 years when I decided to introduce my business Take Off Travel to the public - no real client base, only years of experience and a drive to make this work. With it being 5 months later, all my personal expenses have been covered month-on-month and the relationships I have built with my client's has completely reignited my passion for what I love to do: making travel dreams come true!

The flexibility of meeting clients at their homes or offices, whilst consulting through all the communication channels that technology has provided us, allows the customer experience to be far greater than ever provided.
