Payment Terms & Conditions

The Payment is due immediately by Visa, Master, American Express or Diners Credit Card, or Electronic Funds Transfer, Cash Deposit at a bank, whichever is applicable, and must reflect in the bank account of AWA by midnight South African time on the day that the Booking was made. If the Payment is not received as stated above, The Associate/Booking Agent involved RESERVES THE FULL RIGHT TO CANCEL THE BOOKING, in which event the full Payment (less any cancellation and administration fees) shall be refunded to the Client within 48 hours of the cancellation being processed. In the event that the Payment was made after the aforementioned deadline, and should The Associate/Booking Agent inform the Client by means of a revised Quote that the Booking remains available at a higher price, the Client may choose to proceed with the Booking at such higher price, in which event the CLIENT WILL BE LIABLE for any difference between the original Quote and such higher price, and the revised

 

Payment must reflect in the bank account of AWA before the deadline stipulated in the revised Quote in order to secure the Booking.

By selecting Visa, MasterCard, American Express or DinersClub Credit Card as a method of payment you consent to our use of the services of reputable and secure third party payment service providers in order to process financial transactions and acknowledge that doing so necessitates the disclosure of your payment information when you make a purchase.

 

We have put the necessary measures in place to ensure your personal and payment information remains secure. We make use of 3D Secure, which is an additional layer of online security that is now mandatory for all online retailers in South Africa. It is also known as Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode. It helps prevent fraud by protecting you against unauthorised transactions on your card(s). Once you have selected your payment method and accepted these terms and conditions, you will be directed to Nedbank's secure site for payment of the applicable purchase price for the goods.

 

Your payment will be presented to the bank for authorisation. Should such authorisation be declined, your order will be cancelled. Should the authorisation be successful, your order will be processed for delivery to you. Your payment details are held by Nedbank in a secure encrypted server. For further information regarding online payments with Nedbank please visit www.nedbank.co.za. This website will maintain a full record of every transaction concluded via this website for a period of five (5) years from date of such sale. By accepting these terms and conditions, you consent to AWA processing your personal information for the purposes of administering payment.

 

You consent to AWA sharing and procuring your personal information with and from contracted third parties, only insofar as it relates to payment, who may require such information in order to render a service to you and only if such contracted third party agrees to keep the information confidential.

AWA is a South African company and all transactions are processed in South African Rand. The applicable conversion charges (‘Additional Charges’) may therefore be levied by your merchant bank if payment is made from another country and/or in another currency other than South African Rand. The Additional Charges are driven by the global treasury of the applicable credit card and are impacted by the change in daily exchange rates. AWA or The Associate/Booking Agent shall therefore NOT BE HELD LIABLE for any Additional Charges levied by the applicable merchant, or bank pursuant to the confirmation of a Booking. AWA, or The Associate/Booking Agent does not offer credit, unless otherwise agreed.
